Course Summary

The four-year study in Applied Chemistry will enable students to acquire basic principles and experimental skills in Inorganic Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry (including Instrumental Analysis), Organic Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, and Chemical Engineering Principles etc.. In addition, students are also provided with courses of Modern Analysis and Fine Chemicals. With solid theoretical backgrounds, professional knowledge and practical skills, students upon graduation are expected to be competent of conducting chemical analysis, synthesis of materials and fine chemicals, research on comprehensive usage of industrial wastes, technological development, production engineering, production and operation management, chemistry teaching, and laboratory technology and management etc..
