Brief Introduction:
Electrical Engineering and its Automation, under the Department of Electrical Engineering (DEE), is a wide caliber and guiding major. It aims at the cultivation of versatile senior engineering technical professionals who have the ability of broad knowledge and strong adaptation, innovation, entrepreneurship in the field of electric detection, power system and its automation, engineering design and construction, and system integration.
Students in DEE mainly learn broad engineering technology and a certain amount of professional knowledge (such as electrical technology, electronics, power systems, automatic control, computer technology etc), and possess the capability to deal with the problems of the analysis and control in the electrical engineering technology. The main characteristics of DEE are combination of strong electricity and light current, compatibility of software and hardware. The major courses are electric circuit, electronic technique, electrical machinery, analysis of power system, basis of electrical engineering, power electronics, control theory, motor drive, computer technology (language, bases of hardware and software, MCU, etc), information and system., and so on.
