Brief Introduction:
The Internet of Things is a network of Internet-enabled objects, together with web services that interact with these objects. Underlying the Internet of Things are technologies such as RFID (radio frequency identification), wireless sensor networks, and intelligent embeded devices. Our courses embody the fundamentals of analog and digital circuits, the essential tool of the Computer networks, as well as a wide range of state-of-the-art technologies such as RFID, wireless sensor networks, distributed computing, digital signal processing, milti-sensor data fusions and so on.
The aim of this major not olny focus on trainning of basic knowledge and skills of internet of things, but improving the ability of handling real engineering projects. Students are encouraged to participate in projects investigated by our department faculty and staff. After graduations, students are engaged in the fields of intelligent transportations, environment protections, disaster surveillance, public security, personal healthcare,etc..
