Educational Background:

In 1988, graduated from Nanjing Institute of Meteorology with a Bachelor‘s Degree, majoring in Weather Dynamics
In 1995, graduated from Nanjing Institute of Meteorology with a Master‘s Degree, majoring in Meteorology

Research Fields:

Prof. Min mainly engages in research on medium and small scale numerical simulation, data assimilation, storm-scale ensemble forecasting, climate change and regional response, etc.. He has presided over 3 General Projects of National Science Foundation of China (NSFC), Special Scientific Research Projects for Public Welfare (Meteorological) Industry of Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST), 973 Projects of MOST and more than 10 province-level or ministry-level research projects. He has published over 100 articles on core journals. Besides, he won many awards, e.g. won the second prize of Jiangsu Science and Technology Progressing Award twice; won the third prize of Jiangsu Science and Technology Progressing Award once and the first prize of Excellent Teaching among Jiangsu Colleges and Universities once, etc..
