Applied Meteorology (Public Meteorological Service Direction): to foster pragmatic specialists who master systematic basic knowledge, theories and skills in public meteorological service. Graduates can do business, research or management work in the fields of public meteorological service, weather forecast, energy development and application, hazard prevention and mitigation and meteorological support in research or higher education or other institutions dealing with meteorology, mass media, environment protection, agriculture, land resources, transportation and defense. They can also study for a master’s degree in this or relevant majors. Main courses include Agricultural Meteorology, Meteorological Services, Meteorological Hazard, Management and Marketing.
Agricultural Resources and Environment: to foster inter-disciplinary specialists who master the basic knowledge, theories and skills in agricultural resources and environment and have scientific literacy, innovation spirit and practice capability. Main courses include Introduction to Environment Science, Agrology, Plant Nutriology, GIS, Soil and Agriculture Chemical Analysis.
Ecology: to foster specialists who master the basic knowledge, theories and skills in ecology, have scientific literacy and innovation spirit and can do research, teaching and management work in scientific research or higher education institutions, enterprises and other institutions or administrative authorities. Main courses include Ecology, Environmental Science, Applied Meteorology, Global Ecology and Urban Ecology and Environment.
